This half day compliance seminar is designed to train transportation supervisors in two areas that generate a number of questions: Hours of Service (HOS) and Drug and Alcohol Reasonable Suspicion for Supervisors

The HOS component will focus on regulatory compliance as well as answer a variety of common questions. Training includes the mandatory rest break, 34-hour restart, egregious violations, and on-duty time definition. Attendees will gain a better understanding of HOS regulations, how to comply with the regulations and learn about the latest changes being implemented.

The Reasonable Suspicion for Supervisors component trains supervisors of drivers, who are required to receive two hours of training as specified by Federal Regulations (49 CFR Part 382.603). This session will enable supervisors to determine whether reasonable suspicion exists to require a driver to undergo reasonable suspicion testing.
